I'm going to post several links on how to post pictures to a forum or or other website, then when I have time and all my stuff together I will post a more specific "how to". Most of these links will get you there if you patiently follow the directions. I will also post a couple of links to picture hosting sites, which you will need in order to post your pictures to the web. IF ANYONE HAS SIMPLER INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE POST THEM!!
Picture hosting sites, some free, some paid. Paid tend to allow more pictures and more options and are cheap. I use Smart FTP for mine and the cost is $36 forever, one time fee. Photobucket is a good free site;http://photobucket.com/http://www.smartftp.com/buy/?uid=65241CAF-790D-43AC-8CD0-F9397C0DC605http://imageshack.us/http://tryit.adobe.com/us/photoshopfamily/tw2/?sdid=FHNBR&http://www.freepicturehosting.com/
Photo posting instructions; bear in mind where it says "tinypic.com, you can use photobucket or whatever hosting site you chose;
First, save the image you want to use on your computer. I always save mine under "My Pictures". Also, since I have so many photos, I often create sub folders for categories, like "One in a Million 5 20 05". However, creating sub folders aren't necessary.
go to the site, http://tinypic.com/
. (remember you can use photobucket or whatever hosting site you choose) You probably already know this, but one way to do this is to copy the address and paste it in the "Address" bar at the top of your browser page. This will bring you to a new window at tinypic.com.(remember you can use photobucket or whatever hosting site you choose)
click on the "Browse" button you see in the middle of the page.
find the image that you've saved on your computer and click on it.
click on the "Host It" button located maybe two inches below the "Browse Button." Then wait until it loads up, which may take a while.
scroll down further and click in the box labeled "Link". That's where the address of your uploaded photo is.
For example, I uploaded a photo here and it's link is:http://tinypic.com/5x2178
(remember you can use photobucket or whatever hosting site you choose)
Highlight the Internet address in that box COMPLETELY. Then, click on "Edit" on the menu bar at the top of the tinypic.com (remember you can use photobucket or whatever hosting siteyou choose) window you are now in.
click on COPY.
go to the chosen website you want to post on such as Grumpy's. Once you have logged in and started a new message, click on the "Image" button above the message box. A little rectangular miniature window will pop up near the top of your screen entitled, "Explorer Use Prompt."
click on the "Okay" button in that little rectangular pop-up. Now, the little pop-up will have
disappeared and the following will appear where you normally input your message:
highlight the address in between the . Now, the part inbetween should be blue.
click on "Edit" at the top of this message screen and select "Paste".
Now, instead of reading , it should have the link's address to the photo you want to post inbetween.
Getting back to my example of a link I mentioned earlier, it would read:
Type whatever else you want in the message section, then click the button, "Add Reply" as you always do when you post messages.
AN ALTERNATIVE METHOD AND STORAGE SITE
This should work well for you. However, instead of going to the Tinypic site, you might go to the Photobucket address below (where you can keep an online album to go back to repeatedly), start a free
account, upload your photos there, then once uploaded, copy from the box "URL Address" and paste that into the message board as per the instructions that follow.
Here is Photobucket's address:http://photobucket.com/

I know this stuff can be confusing, hell it still is for me! If you take your time, be patiant and follow one or the other of these, you will be seeing your pics up on websites in no time.
Another good way is to host your own pics on a personal website, here are the top ten;http://hosting-review-center.com/?ad=msn_miriam2&k=online%20picture%20hosting
