Fresh motor detail from this past Winter:

1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS. It's my daily driver. It's nothing special, but it's a good car. I have done a lot of work to this car since I got it. Too much to list. It's barley even the same car it was when I got it. I know I'll probably get flack for it being FWD, but whatever 8-)

Added these to the car, from an '87 Monte Luxury Sport in the salvage yard:

Added the spoiler from a salvage car:

Here are some before shots of it:

Some of the more major cosmetic repairs have been: new front bumper, new front seats, new headlights, new trunk panel & spoiler, red Knight Shields added from a G4 Monte. mechanical work done: new battery, starter, alternator, PS pump, brakes, rear struts. And so many other little things(interior trim etc). I have a list of over 50 things that I have repaired or replaced on this vehicle.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures of my rides! If you want to see more...just ask! I have a ton!

I hope my flat head works as well as that '48 when I'm 63!
Good looking rides!

That's one incredible 48 Plymouth for unrestored ! Where did you find it? If you don't mind, what did you pay for it ? I would like to see more pics of the 48 Plymouth.

What are the two components pointed to in the picture ?

The Plymouth belonged to my grandfather. He bought it June 2006 for $17,700. He passed away October 2009.

What you ask about, is the oil filter inlet & outlet. Years ago, it was converted to a spin on foil filter. However...I DO have the original canister style.

The '48 looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Beautiful.

And the 74 Monte. I would be proud to have that in my garage also.
Cheers, Sean

Some dogs should go to hell to welcome Michael Vick when he arrives.
