New Man-Cave

New Man-Cave

Postby DorianL » December 27th, 2012, 6:06 am

Well, I decided (now that the film crew is gone) to delete the kids' play room in the basement. They never use it... just trash it.

Sooo, I am moving all their junk out - to recycling, to bin, to their respective rooms...

With the premises vacated, I will move my weight - barbells, dumbbells, benches into that room and covert it to a gym/pantry.

The other room will become my man-cave. Already built a big work bench + large panel to hang my tools.

Now I'm cleaning up my area, hanging tools. Hmmm, I think I'll put my compressor in another room ;)

I hope you put some thought into how you can get an engine or transmission out of there once it's done!

I agree with Grumpy on the pictures. I hate to do this, but you leave me no choice!!!

trust me when I say your hardly the first guy to find you have stuffed a great deal, of your seldom used items or nearly every odd item you own, into some room like a huge dumpster at one time or another.
I purchased at least 10 , three level 2000 lb rated shelve assembly's in my garage shop just to limit the amount of stuff that was lying around in parts or supplies.

Now THAT makes me feel better. It really does. I'm still sorting through my dumpster.

You'll notice that I haven't yet posted pics of my man-cave.

It's a hopeless mess. I essentially have an entire Karmann Ghia in pieces on every table there - fortunately no pieces on the floor… as there is some water seepage coming up through the ground… :-///

To many projects. Too little time.:-/////
