I am putting together a nice cruiser C4 corvette, and picked up my fresh 406!!
My question is around the compression ratio / quench.
The pistons are Speed pro flat tops with 4 valve reliefs, +6cc, they are 0.18 in the whole (according to the shop). I am thinking of AFR 195 (comps) 75cc heads and to run a 0.027 cometic gasket(4.165 gasket bore). I believe this would give me a 10.15:1 compression ratio.
Is this correct?
I am looking at ordering a Jones a cam:
Cam# LT1, HR70375-71360-110
226/228 @.050"
.375"/.360" Lobe Lift
110 LSA
In case your wondering - intended power range is peak power around 5500 (less than 6k). I am going to run a cleanup (mildly ported) First injection intake. (originally was going on the 350 box stock)
