One of the Most Memorable sounds to me is from a 1957-66 Pontiac Tripower in action.
2-bbl center operation to Kicking in the Outboard carbs WOT.
ITS ALL HOLY HELL BEING SUCKED IN.
ON A 455 THE CAR LURCHES FORWARD INSTANT EVEN IN 3RD GEAR / TH400 AT 60MPH.
FROM A DEAD STOP THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL TRIES AND LIFTS OFF THE GROUND.
REAR OF THE 63 GP HOOKS UP FAST AND YOUR GONE.
BLOWN PAST ANY EASY BUT 440 MOPAR CAMMED HOT WITH 4.10-4.56 DANA 60 OR BBC SETUP CORRECT.
