vibration between 2600 & 3100rpm

Hey Grumpy, I have a '39 Ford with a 355, comp cam of your recommendation, tunnel ram w/2 1404 Edelbrocks. It spins up to 6000 really quick and I'm really satisfied with the performance other than it has a vibration between 2600 & 3100. Either side of that rpm it's fine. I talked to the guy I got the flywheel from and he said he neglected to tell me that the engine it came from was balanced. He thought they had balanced the crank, harmonic balancer, & flywheel together. I'm thinking I need to pull the flywheel & have it balanced " to itself". Are he and I correct in this?
